FBI Searches Home Near Warsaw

FBI agents searched the home of Dr. Bryan Spilmon, a Warsaw man who practices dentistry in St. Joseph County.

According to assistant U.S. attorney Donald J. Schmid in South Bend, three federal search warrants were executed on Spilmon, giving the FBI and the Indiana Medicare/Medicaid Fraud Control Unit permission to search his home, offices and a third location where billing records are kept.

FBI agents at the Spilmon residence declined to comment on the case and Schmid said his office could not reveal the reason behind the warrants or 'confirm or deny' that an investigation of Spilmon is under way.
