LARWILL – A 20-year-old Warsaw man was killed early Sunday after his truck veered off a Whitley County roadway and flipped.
Police and medics were called just before 1 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of CR 950W and Old Trail Road, just south of U.S. 30, after reports came in saying a pickup had left the road, struck a pole and rolled.
Whitley County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrived to find a 1992 Dodge pickup off the right side of 950W on its top, according to a release from the department. Its driver - Jeremiah Setser, of 7138 S. CR 400E, Warsaw - was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s unclear from the report why Setser’s southbound truck left the road, though police noted they are waiting on a toxicology report to be returned.
