WINONA LAKE - If it's human-powered and it's on wheels, it will be in the Village at Winona during the second annual Northern Indiana Fat & Skinny Tire Fest. The festival, April 30 and May 1, includes tour rides of various lengths on Saturday. Also, DINO series MTB races, tours of the town, a hill climb, BMX freestyle shows, an exposition tent with demonstration bikes and industry representatives, a Kids Safety City exhibition, wild ride bike art parade and tricycle races sponsored by the Warsaw Noon Optimist Club, live music by the Summertime Blues Band and an evening bonfire, with overnight camping available.
Sunday will feature a "Blessing of the Bikers" church service, USCF road criterium races, the Orthopaedic Cub celebrity beach cruiser race, and the exposition tent. There's something for everyone.
