Family Members Hurt In Fatal Crash

Posted

Four members of a Warsaw family were injured in a two-vehicle accident early Tuesday morning in Tipton County that killed a man from Greenfield.

Harold C. Rodgers, 53, was driving his pickup north on U.S. 31 at CR 350S around 6 a.m. when he apparently lost control on the snow-covered road. Witnesses told police he slid into the median and struck a sign that caused him to become airborn.

The pickup landed in the right lane of U.S. 31 south and was struck by a car driven by Terry L. Myers, 46, Warsaw.

Myers and two members of his family were taken to Tipton County Memorial Hospital. Myers and his wife, Vicky, were admitted and are listed in stable condition. A child was treated and released. The fourth member of the family, Erin Myers, 18, was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where her condition was unavailable.
