Carnival games, clowns and face painting all will be a part of this year's Family Carnival in Central Park.
The carnival will be held from 6 to 9 p.m Friday and is part of the Warsaw Park Department's family activities in Central Park.
Activities will include an inflatable giant slide, moonwalks and roving entertainers.
There also will be face painting and stage performances.
"The event is a good time for family to get together before school starts," said event coordinator Staci Wright.
The Fort Wayne Zoo will provide an "Amazing Animal Show" at 6:30 p.m. that will allow children to interact with animals.
Game tickets are 25 cents each. The entertainment is free.
Concessions will include elephant ears and cotton candy.
The Optimist Club will provide Self-Assured Child Identification cards for children. Children's photos will be taken and they will be fingerprinted for an identification kit in the pavilion from 6 to 9 p.m.
