Fairfield-Wawasee Building Trades Open House Friday

Posted
NEW PARIS – The Fairfield-Wawasee Building Trades open house is Friday from 3 to 7 p.m.
The 2014-15 project was a combined effort of the Fairfield High School Building Trades class with the Wawasee High School Building Trades class.
The home was built for Darin and Darcy Holsopple at 68928 CR 25, New Paris.
The two-story home is 2,500 square feet with an unfinished basement. Its exterior has an archway front door that leads into a grand entry with a two-story staircase.
The home has 2-1/2 baths, four bedrooms, an office and an open-concept kitchen and living room with 15-feet vaulted ceilings. The mud room off the garage houses cubbies, and the laundry room is placed on the second floor and attaches to the master bedroom. The living room has a large fireplace with stone and ship-lap details.
With minimal subcontractor help, the students involved in this building project are: Drew Anderson, Nick Anderson, Austin Burkholder, Chase Jacobs, Lorenzo Aguinaga, Michael McCulloch, Jeffrey Moore, Daniel Pedroza, Francisco Ramirez, Jonas Schwartz, Brady Shepherd, Aaron Walker, Carter Whitmer, Jorge Castro, Maclain Herr, Bailey Hershberger, Kyle Smiley, Michael Turner, Andrew Zartman, Slade Espada, Jordan Keaffaber, Michael Lawson, Nicholas Ortiz, Dakota McBride, Dakota Wroblewski, Daniel Hartzler, Timothy Hostetler, Collin Miller, Jonlsen DeLuna, Pedro Guerrero, Wesley Hicks, Erick Reyes and Luis Zamarripa.
