Ex-Shelter Worker Accused Of Sexual Misconduct

Posted

A former Kosciusko County Juvenile Shelter house parent is accused of sexual misconduct with a minor after allegedly fondling a 14-year-old boy.

Officials at the shelter said William Dondray Brown, 29, of 625 Hepler Drive, Warsaw, was suspended when the allegation was made and has since been terminated.

The sexual act was allegedly consentual, but the victim is under the age of consent. The teen-ager told officials the alleged act occurred March 5 at the Warsaw facility. He was later transferred to a Goshen juvenile facility and, on March 16, he told an employee there about what allegedly transpired.

Brown was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail Wednesday afternoon on the Class C felony charge and was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
