ETNA GREEN - An Etna Green woman was arrested for robbery and serious bodily injury Tuesday afternoon. According to a probable cause affidavit from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, Vanessa Eileen Arnold, 19, of 318 W. Spring St., Etna Green, made a call to purchase marijuana and requested the victim to meet in the Walgreens parking lot Nov. 27. Upon arrival to Walgreens, the victim found Arnold sitting in the vehicle with three other people. The victim said he was forced to sit in the back seat between two of them, the affidavit states. The victim reported being pinned down by his throat for 15 seconds, strangled and punched by two of the people in the vehicle, according to the affidavit. The subject reported he could not breathe and thought he was going to die. His watch, Michael Jordan brand shoes, his black Obey hat and wallet with more than $150 was stolen and then he was dumped from the vehicle onto the side of the road near Warsaw Community Church, and was found later by his girlfriend. He went to Kosciusko Community Hospital to be treated for extensive injuries to his head, throat and swollen eyes. Arnold admitted to officers that she contacted the subject and was arrested Tuesday. She was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on a $17,500 bond.
