ETNA GREEN - The Etna Green Town Council passed motions Tuesday re-electing town officers.
The council will continue with Todd Slabaugh as president and Keith Claassen as vice president.
The council elected to keep First State Bank of Bourbon as the town depository.
Councilman Jim Robbins discussed his feelings on the need to switch power lines from the current above-ground locations to underground lines due to the recent power outages. Robbins was instructed to do research on the subject including pricing and benefits of the underground lines.
The council continued with discussion on needs to improve the town's infrastructure including purchasing a generator for the waste treatment plant and purchasing a severe weather siren. No proposals were made, however, the town did consider drafting a list of things to be done in the near future.
