MILFORD – An Elkhart man was arrested Monday after fleeing from undercover Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers in Milford. According to a press release issued by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, drug task force officers were conducting an undercover purchase of marijuana Monday afternoon with the assistance of the Milford Police Department after a month-long investigation. After the officers made the purchase, the suspect, Emmanuel Ryan Kwabena Collier, 30, Elkhart, suddenly fled on foot. Officers initiated a short pursuit and Collier was tackled by KCSD deputies. Collier was taken into custody and preliminarily charged with resisting or fleeing law enforcement and felony dealing in marijuana within 1,000 feet of school property. He was booked into Kosciusko County Jail just after 5 p.m. Monday and held on a $5,000 bond. The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force was assisted in the investigation by the Milford Police Department, Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office and KCSD.
