There’s more than coffee at Dutch Bros. Coffee, and they’re officially opening their Warsaw location Thursday, Sept. 17.
On Wednesday, they had their soft opening and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Austin Hermanson, operator of the Warsaw Dutch Bros. Coffee location, said they offer a variety of products.
“Obviously, we’re known mostly for our coffee, being in the name, but we also have a really popular option that’s our own private label of energy drink called the Dutch Bros. Rebel. We offer those iced and blended in a variety of options - different flavors, sugar-free options as well,” he said. “But almost anything that you can sip through a straw you can order at Dutch Bros. We have teas, sodas, lemonades, smoothies, chais, hot cocoas and so on and so forth.”
There’s also some food on the menu.
“We have nine super awesome and delicious food items,” Hermanson stated.
The savory items include a chorizo wrap; a bacon or sausage egg and cheese slider; some baked goods that can be ordered hot or cold, like a blueberry muffin, banana bread or coffee cake; and for an afternoon snack there’s the cookie dough cake pops.
Hermanson said what sets Dutch Bros. Coffee apart from the other coffee shops is their service.
“We really pride ourselves on engaging with our customers, reaching out and setting up local events in the community. So, hopefully, the city of Warsaw will think so as well and they decide to stop by,” he said.
Hours are “early to late,” as he described them, or Sunday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Fridays and Saturdays, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Customers can drive through to pick up their orders, but Dutch Bros. also has a walk-up window as well. There’s no interior dining room for customers, but the parking lot has a couple spots reserved for mobile pick-up.
Mobile pick-up will be available sometime after Dutch Bros. opens “and then customers can park and either walk up and order at the window or place a mobile order and have it ready to pick up at the window, as well,” Hermanson said.
He recommended everyone in Warsaw to download the Dutch Bros. app and they’ll get a free medium drink when they do. With the app, customers can earn rewards when they purchase drinks and food.
“We’re not launching with mobile order tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 17) when we open, but it should be available pretty soon,” Hermanson said.
He said the location at 3352 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, is a great location.
“I don’t know how many people drive this highway every day, but I’m sure it’s a lot. Just let everybody in the Chamber know and everyone that reads this in Warsaw we are so ready to see you guys and start making connections and serve you all guys some great drinks,” Hermanson concluded.
