Duncan, Howie File For Winona Lake Town Council Ward 2 Seat

WINONA LAKE – Two candidates have filed for the Winona Lake Town Council seat that is being vacated by John Boal. Boal announced during the council’s March 19 meeting he is resigning from the seat for a job as vice president of advancement at College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas. Winona Lake residents Terry Howie and Dennis L. Duncan have filed a declaration of candidacy with Randy Girod, Kosciusko County Republican chairman, for the position of Winona Lake Town Council Ward 2. The caucus is April 18 at 7 p.m. The deadline for filing a declaration of candidacy with Girod is April 15 at 7 p.m. Four precinct committeemen are eligible to vote: Wayne 1, Lynn Howie; Wayne 3: Janice Workman; Wayne 4: Mark Nunez; and Wayne 10: Karen Wildman.
