Driver Hurt In 1-Car Crash Near S. Lake

SILVER LAKE - An early morning accident today left one person injured but in stable condition at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department officers responded to a one-vehicle crash on CR 950S near CR 550W near Silver Lake at 3:07 a.m.
Rex Laughlin, 44, Silver Lake, was traveling east on CR 950S and veered off the road and struck a tree.
Laughlin was transported to KCH and was listed in stable condition.
Police reports indicate alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
