Community And Businesses Donate For Annual Shrine Club Turkey Shoot

Posted

The Kosciusko County Shrine Club will hold the annual Turkey Shoot Sept. 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Beason’s Gun Range, Etna Green.
The event supports the Shriners Children’s and the Mizpah Shrine Temple’s philanthropic mission to provide high-quality medical care to children for bone, joint, muscle conditions, burns and other special needs in a family-focused environment regardless of the ability to pay, according to a provided news release. Several community minded members and businesses support the mission with donations and continuing participation.
Thousands of local sportsmen have supported the mission for 25-plus years. This year a three-gun raffle will feature an AR 15, a Glock 19 and Ruger Super Wrangler donated by McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels and Instrumental Machine and Development.
Tickets are $10 and will enter the purchaser in a drawing for three chances to win. Children under 12 will be able to shoot free for a .410 shotgun donated by Two Bear Arms Gun Shop.
Join them for good old fashioned fall fun, food is available, a huge silent auction will be held and numerous prizes will be available to shoot for, the release states. The public is welcome.
