Rudy’s Dog Park is planning its first fundraising event at the Downtown Eatery & Spirits on Oct. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Rudy’s Dog Park is a notfor-profit organization that has been established for the purpose of building a dog park in Warsaw.
The organization has acquired the land needed, had the property surveyed and organized a board of directors. The group is now fundraising with the goal of opening Phase 1 of the park by the end of November.
The goal for the Dogtoberfest event is to raise $15,000 through an auction of donated products at the Downtown Eatery. An auctioneer has been found but product sponsors are being sought.
So far the group has received commitments for items in the $50 to $350 range.
For infromation, visit RudysDogPark.org and a FaceBook page is currently under construction where both of these sites will promote this event and its major sponsors.
