NORTH MANCHESTER - An 18-year-old North Manchester teen died late Thursday night and there are few details surrounding his death.
North Manchester Police were dispatched to a home in the 700 block of North Sycamore Street at 11:03 p.m. Thursday.
Derek G. Sadler, 18, was at the home and unresponsive when police and EMS arrived.Sadler was transported to Wabash County Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Wabash County Coroner's Office and North Manchester Police are investigating the death.
Two other people at the residence where Sadler was found were treated at Wabash County Hospital.
North Manchester Police Department Chief David A. Young declined comment and said no more details were available as of this morning.
Carol Whitesell, Wabash County Coroner's Office, said an autopsy will not be performed on Sadler and that toxicology results are pending.
Whitesell said the decision not to perform an autopsy was a "judgement call."
