Staff Report-
WINONA LAKE – Tree designers are needed for this year’s Festival of Trees.
Festival of Trees 2011 will be Nov. 17-20 at Rodeheaver Auditorium in Winona Lake.
Again this year, the event will feature more than 40 decorated trees in many shapes and sizes, as well as decorated wreaths and floral arrangements.
In addition to the trees and wreaths, the festival will include the Holiday Market, as well as several family activities including the “Reindeer Romp” Nov. 19.
All proceeds from this year’s Festival of Trees will benefit the programs and services of the Kosciusko County Shelter for Abuse Inc. (The Beaman Home).
The organization provides essential services to domestic violence victims, and their children, by empowering them to live with dignity while helping to break the cycle of abuse.
People who would like to showcase their design talent by decorating a tree for this year’s festival can contact Design Committee Chair Sandy Patterson no later than Sept. 14.
Patterson may be reached Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 574-372-3500 or via email at sandy@healthconnectinc.org
