Beta Zeta chapter of Delta Theta Tau Sorority is selling ButterBraids as this fall's fundraiser. Proceeds of the fundraiser are distributed philanthropically back into Kosciusko County.
In the past year, the chapter donated over $7,000 to various local organizations including Operation Read, Habitat for Humanities, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Strengthening Families, Combined Community Services, Salvation Army, Room at the Table, Heartline, Make Room, and to school nurses and gas cards to be given to cancer patients who have to drive for treatment appointments.
Available for sale are a variety of fruit-filled and cinnamon ButterBraid pastries; cinnamon and caramel rolls; ready-to-serve cake rolls in chocolate, lemon, pumpkin, carrot cake, strawberry cheesecake and red velvet; and soft pretzels and pretzel bites.
Orders will be delivered to customers early in November in time to enjoy during the holidays. Orders can be placed until Oct. 26 by contacting a sorority member or by calling Marcia at 574-527-1612.
