Those effected by floods this winter still can apply for help from Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The deadline for registration with FEMA is March 31.
"If you've had any flood damage from Jan. 7 until now, you should apply," said Kosciusko County Emergency Management Director Ed Rock.Rock stressed that those affected by flooding need to call 800-621-FEMA (3362).
While homeowners and businesses applied, renters are also eligible for assistance if anything they owned was damaged by flooding.
When those who are applying for flood assistance call the 800 number, they will be given a registration number. According to Rock, that registration number needs to be saved as it's invaluable to the process.
Rock also stated that people should apply even if they believe their insurance companies will cover them.
As of 9 a.m. Monday, Kosciusko County has received $106,064.87 in assistance.
