The steering committee that organizes the annual Back To The Days Of Kosciuszko festival has disbanded, according to charter member and co-chairman Tammy Denlinger.
The event, which was held along the shores of Pike Lake in Lucerne Park, drew more than 200 Revolutionary War-era re-enactors to the area each year.
Denlinger said committee members had other commitments and priorities as the event takes hundreds of hours to coordinate each year.
The three-day "historically correct" festival directly benefited the Kosciusko County Council on Aging, and through it, the Senior Services programs and participating vendors.
