Day at the Lake Raises More Than $30,000 for St. Jude

The annual event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital raised more than $30,000 and saw its largest attendance to date, according to fair committee President Mike Loher. He also noted that the event was put on by volunteers and sponsors, and even the artists who performed gave a substantial discount which basically covered their expenses.
