Police are investigating how a Warsaw business sustained more than $100,000 in water damage over the weekend.
Warsaw police responded to a call from an owner of Crazy Day Gourmet, 3510 Commerce Drive, Warsaw, of water damage to the building.
A police report indicates that a faucet was left running with the sinkhole plugged, causing more than $100,000 in damage to the building.
No forced entry was reported by police.
The building was deemed a total loss in the report.
According to the Warsaw Police Department, the incident is being investigated as a criminal act.
Crazy Day Gourmet opened in early November as a place for families to purchase healthy, homestyle meals with a focus on dietary restrictions like gluten-free.
