SOUTH WHITLEY - A North Manchester man is dead after a two-vehicle collision Friday in Whitley County.
Thomas L. Miller, 21, of 70 N. Wabash St., North Manchester, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His obituary appears on page 3A today.
According to a Whitley County Sheriff's Department report, the department received a 911 call regarding a personal injury accident at 3:10 p.m. Friday.
Miller reportedly was southbound on Ind. 105, two miles south of South Whitley, and lost control of his vehicle, colliding with a vehicle driven by Kelly Jo Baker, Roann. Baker and her three unidentified passengers were transported to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, for medical attention. She is in good condition today, according to a Lutheran Hospital spokesman.
The incident is still under investigation by Whitley County Sheriff's Department.
