A Nappanee boy and his father are dead after a two-car collision near Goshen in Elkhart County Tuesday evening.
Jordan Jay Snodgrass, 10, of 0414 W. CR 1200N, Nappanee, was pronounded dead at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at Elkhart General Hospital. His father, Scott Snodgrass, 42, died at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at Elkhart General Hospital.
According to the Elkhart County police, Snodgrass was westbound on CR 28 when he reportedly failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection with CR 9. Snodgrass' vehicle was hit on the passenger side by a vehicle driven by Brian L. Williams, of 26400 CR 50, Nappanee.
Williams suffered bruises and scrapes to his arms and legs and also was treated at Elkhart General Hospital.
