Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety Thursday approved an interlocal agreement for law enforcement vehicles.
The agreement allows Kosciusko County to provide two law enforcement vehicles to Warsaw at no charge. The vehicles will replace two high-mileage vehicles currently used by the detective division.
In February 2006, the Warsaw Police Detective Division and the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force concluded an investigation of the VIP Office Spa that resulted in a significant seizure of property and money.
Due to Warsaw not having a seizure fund in place, the proceeds from the seizure were placed in the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force seizure fund.
Vehicles provided to the city will become its property to be titled in its name. Warsaw will be responsible for all licensing, insurance, maintenance, repair and replacement of the vehicles.
The agreement also states the city will have the power to dispose of those vehicles as they see fit.
The board also:
n Awarded supply bids for the Warsaw Street Department including Rock Industries for limestone; Kuert Concrete for ready mix concrete and flowable back material; and Phend & Brown for bituminous material, curb concrete and concrete flatwork.
n Approved a $315 contract between the city and The Image Group Inc. for the group to add Google analytics codes to the city Web site to track visitors and observe usage by departments.
