Kosciusko County Commissioners this morning approved new credit cards for county sheriff’s deputies.
Commissioners approved a switch from American Express to Lake City Bank for credit card purchases. County Administrator Ron Robinson suggested the change, which he said was researched by Auditor Marsha McSherry and endorsed by Sheriff Rocky Goshert.
Goshert told commissioners that when his deputies travel, they sometimes have trouble with the American Express cards not being accepted.
Robinson added that the bank will not receive any personal information about deputies.
Commissioners also approved $450 in non-profit funding for Arrow Head RC&I. The club had requested $500, but Commissioner Bob Conley suggested $450 since the request was submitted late.
