City councilmen will consider contract renewals for 2005 and the requests of several not-for-profit agencies Monday at 6 p.m. in city hall. These total $383,350 and are listed under professional services in the council budget.
Requests include:
Animal Welfare League - $15,000 ($14,520 paid in 2004).
Kosciusko Area Bus Service - $431,958 ($18,500).
Kosciusko Development Inc. - $5,000 ($1,500).
Warsaw Community Development Corp. - $12,000.
Housing Opportunities of Warsaw - $25,000.
IACT Dues - $7,500.
HJ Umbaugh - $7,000 ($5,000).
Sus Amigos - $15,000 (a new request).
Bowen Center EAP Program - $7,500 (new).
Legal and professional fees - $90,000.
Parker Street engineering - $100,000.
ADP - $10,000.
MedStat - $2,000 ($1,000).
Parking lot leases - with Phillip and Maxine Harris $9,000 ($4,500 for three years); Larry Polk, $9,600; and Robert Breading, $3,300.
Janitorial Services - $8,500 ($7,800).
A public hearing will be Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. and an adoption hearing Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m., following a 6 p.m. plan commission meeting.
