Still working under the idea that the County Option Income Tax revenue coming for 2005 is uncertain, the Kosciusko County council continued budget hearings Tuesday.
The department budgets listed here include the totals as presented by the department heads. As the county council approved 2 percent raises for full-time employees, the totals listed here will change after the salaries are recalculated.
There will be no change in pay for part-time employees. Township employees' pay will increase to $80 per day and board members' pay will remain at $80 per meeting.
The wage committee Monday also recommended that all telephone expenditures be taken out of each department's budget and paid out of the county commissioners' budget. The budget figures here also represent the totals before those were eliminated.
