The organization’s mission is to help orphaned and neglected children in Haiti with food, shelter and education, Shepherd said. Allowing Christ to Shine already has built two building for orphans in Haiti. Proceeds also will go to purchase turkeys for families in Kosciusko County who cannot afford them this Thanksgiving. Last year more than 80 families received turkeys, and the goal is to double that this year, Shepherd said. During the concert, Grammy-nominated artist Francesca Battistelli will perform. Battistelli’s first single, “This Is The Stuff,” debuted in the Top 20 on Billboard’s Christian chart and Top 10 on iTune’s Christian and Gospel chart. Opening artists are Sidewalk Prophets and Andy Cherry and City Harbor. “We want to help children and families and let them know in a tangible way that God is fighting for them and that he is with them,” Shepherd said. “We hope that the community comes out for a great night of songs and worship and to help the needy.” Ticket prices are $25, $20, $15 and $10. The cost for purchasing tickets at the door is an additional $5. People can purchase tickets at the Performing Arts Center Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Courthouse Coffee on Buffalo Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or via itickets.com Questions can be directed to Shepherd by calling 574-527-0103 or clarkacts@gmail.com
