Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will offer community paddle boarding and canoeing at Pike Lake Beach, 1009 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 2.
This free program gives community members the opportunity to explore the lake using paddle boards or canoes. No registration is needed, but all participants must have a waiver and rules form on file each calendar year. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.
A few things to know before you paddle:
- Participants under 16 must have an adult in the water with them.
- Paddle boards, canoes and life vests are provided by the Parks Department.
- Equipment is available first come, first served and used in timed sessions so everyone has a chance to participate.
- Staff will provide a quick safety overview before you head out on the water.
- All activities are supervised by Parks staff.
Stop by, grab a paddle, and enjoy the lake!
