Community Foundation Seeks Heart Of Gold Nominations

Posted
Kosciusko County Community Foundation is seeking nominations for the Heart Of Gold award.

The Heart of Gold program recognizes ordinary people in the community who perform extraordinary acts of kindness for others.

Nominees must live, work or volunteer in Kosciusko County. There are no age restrictions on who can nominate or who can be nominated.

Up to 50 people nominated will be invited to a Heart of Gold reception on June 6 at the Center Lake Pavilion at 6:45 p.m.

There, they will meet their nominators, be recognized, and have the opportunity to award a Community Foundation grant in their honor to the charity of their choice.

Last year, $7,300 was granted to area nonprofit organizations in honor of Heart of Gold recipients.

The deadline for nominations is May 4. Nomination forms are available online at  www.kcfoundation.org, www.kcfoundation.org or by visiting the Foundation office, located at 102 E. Market St. in downtown Warsaw.

Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community.
