Cocaine Factor In Death Of Warsaw Man

Posted

The Sept. 12 death of a rural Warsaw man has been ruled accidental due to an overdose of cocaine.

John M. Murphy, 40, of West CR 400S, was pronounced dead at Kosciusko Community Hospital after the 5 a.m. incident at his residence. Others present at the residence told authorities that Murphy had used cocaine prior to collapsing.

An autopsy was performed and Kosciusko County Coroner Larry Ladd said that Murphy had a lethal amount of the narcotic drug in his system.
