Dementia Learning And Parkinson’s Support Group Meetings At Timbercrest
NORTH MANCHESTER – Timbercrest Senior Living Community is hosting a Dementia Learners Group and a Parkinson’s Support Group and is inviting the public to participate in a welcoming, supportive space for individuals affected by dementia and Parkinson’s.
Whether you’re living with Parkinson’s or care for somebody who is, you’re not alone. Timbercrest’s goal is to build a community where members can share their journey, learn from others, and find strength together. Meetings take place on the first Thursday of every month at 3 p.m. in the Timbercrest Resident Activity Room.
Family, caregivers and friends of those with dementia are welcome to join the Dementia Learners Group. They aim to create a supportive learning environment where individuals can build knowledge, develop skills and find a supportive community. Mutual sharing and support are positive and helpful for those involved, according to a provided news release. Meetings take place on the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Timbercrest Nook. For this meeting, enter through the Hub.
