Claypool Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Husband In HeadCLAYPOOL – A Claypool woman was arrested Wednesday after allegedly stabbing her husband in the head with a knife.
Marcella Jane Dillon, 58, of 3019 W. Hill Lake Road, Claypool, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday for battery with a deadly weapon. Her preliminary bond was set at $5,250. More formal charges were expected to be filed today.
According to information from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, officers were called to the Dillon residence at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday in regard to a domestic dispute. Neither Dillon nor her husband was cooperative with police but they said their dispute was only verbal. The two separated, with Dillon going into the house and her husband into the barn.
Deputies were called out a second time and that’s when they found the husband with a stab wound to the side of his head above his ear. He told officers he was stabbed in the head with a knife, but Dillon denied knowing anything about it.
Initially, the man’s injury wasn’t thought to be serious but then he was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital because the knife punctured his skull, according to police.
