CLAYPOOL - During the past few months the town of Claypool has had disagreements with new contracts and their "slanted" wording.
In a special public hearing June 2, the board discussed the leases and agreements of Norfolk and Southern. The board decided to accept the agreement if they strike paragraph 8.1.1 to not limit their liability.The board requested to talk to the lawyers of Norfolk and Southern to work out any disagreements.
The town also made the final payment on the Model TC30 New Holland Tractor.
They requested that casing be installed to protect any 8-inch water mains.
