A Claypool man was airlifted to a Fort Wayne trauma center Thursday after a two-vehicle collision in Warsaw. Leroy F. Miller, 58, of West Maple Lane, Claypool, was reportedly trapped inside his vehicle following the collision and was removed by emergency personnel. He sustained a head injury in the crash and was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital via Lutheran Air Ambulance. Miller was traveling with a 4-year-old passenger, who was not treated for injuries. Community Relations at Lutheran Hospital said Miller was in stable condition this morning. According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department crash report, Miller was traveling north on Ferguson Road, approaching CR 200S. Miller reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way to a second vehicle – driven by Darrell E. Vetor, 27, of East Wilcox Road, Warsaw – traveling East on CR 200S when the two collided. Vetor sustained a broken leg and was transported via ambulance to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
