MILFORD - CTB International Corp., citing a weak market for hogs, poultry and eggs, has reduced its operations support, sales and administrative staff by 12 percent.
The reduction equates to 40 jobs, according to a company spokeswoman.
In announcing the staff reduction, Victor Mancinelli, president and chief executive officer, said the reduction is expected to result in a third-quarter charge of $900,000, or 4-cents per share, and is expected to result in a savings of $2.1 million.
