Children Injured In Friday Crash Listed 'Fair' In Fort Wayne

Two children involved in a Friday accident, who allegedly weren't restrained in child seats, are in fair condition this morning.
Chadei Zaca, 5, and Jonathan Tlahuextl, 2, both of 920 Anchorage Road, Warsaw, were both listed in fair condition at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, this morning.
According to an Indiana State Police report, the two children were injured after the SUV they were riding in eastbound on Crystal Lake Road crossed over the center line, striking a westbound car driven by Christine Kierpaul, age unavailable, of 764 N. CR 700W, Warsaw.
The police report states the children weren't restrained in child safety seats. The children were airlifted to Parkview via Samaritan Helicopter.
