With today being the one-year anniversary of its grand re-opening, Chapman Jewelers, 1922 E. Center St., is giving a portion of its profits from now until Nov. 30 to Combined Community Services.
Looking for a way to give back, owner Emily Chapman Metzger looked to CCS where she had previously donated gifts to to the Crazy Waiter Dinner.
Chapman Jewelers is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. After Thanksgiving, and through the holiday season, Chapman Jewelers also will be open Sundays.
“Emily’s been a great partner with us,” said CCS Executive Director Steve Possell.
Possell said donations were important for CCS during the holiday season to help fund programs like Adopt-A-Family, keep the food pantry stocked and help with CCS’ capital campaign fund for a new building.
