Oakwood Cemetery Board of Regents Thursday learned about projects cemetery employees have been working on.
Oakwood Cemetery Sexton Hal Heagy told the board there will be new road signs installed along the new road that was constructed on the east side of the cemetery.
He also said trash cans for the cemetery are in, and will be installed in the next couple of weeks.
There were 15 burials in July, 50 lots were sold, and 20 deeds signed during the meeting.
Heagy said he submitted a proposed 2009 cemetery budget to the city that is under review.
The board will meet again Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. at the cemetery office.
Board members are President Warren Tatter, Don Bixel, Lewis Dobbins, Ellen Hoffer and Jeff Grose.
