Caucus Set To Replace Boal On Winona Lake Town Council

WINONA LAKE – A caucus has been set to fill the remainder of Winona Lake Town Council President John Boal’s term. Boal announced during Tuesday’s council meeting that he is resigning effective March 31 to take a job as vice president of advancement at College of Biblical Studies, Houston, Texas. A caucus of eligible Winona Lake Republican precinct committeemen will be April 18 at 7 p.m. in the Winona Lake Town Council Chambers, Winona Lake Town Hall, 1310 Park Avenue. Interested eligible candidates for the position of Winona Lake Town Council Ward 2 seat must file a Declaration of Candidacy with Kosciusko County Republican Chairman Randy Girod no later than 72 hours before the commencement of the caucus. Declaration of candidacy forms will be available from the Kosciusko County Clerk's office, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, beginning today.
