A caucus of eligible Kosciusko County Republican precinct committeemen will be Aug. 18 at 7 p.m., in the Winona Lake Town Council chambers. The caucus is for the purpose of filling the remainder of the unexpired term of Greg Winn, who submitted his resignation effective July 31 for the office of Winona Lake Town Council Ward 4 councilman. Interested eligible candidates must file a declaration of candidacy with Kosciusko County Republican Chairman Randall Girod no later than 72 hours before the commencement of the caucus. Declaration of candidacy forms will be available from the Kosciusko County Clerk's office, 121 N. Lake St., beginning today.
