Carolyn A. Bucher

NORTH MANCHESTER – Carolyn A. Bucher, 83, North Manchester, died at 4 p.m. May 25, 2016, in North Manchester. She was born March 25, 1933, in Huntington, to George F. Enyeart Jr., and Mary C. Aldridge. On April 13, 1952, she married Kenneth M. Bucher, who died Dec. 20, 1989. She worked at Oppenheim’s Dept. Store, North Manchester, as a clerk. She was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Bippus. Surviving are one son, Ken Bucher, North Manchester; two daughters, Cynthia Bucher, North Manchester, and Beth (and spouse Dennis) Walther, Claypool; six grandchildren: Michelle, Lesley, Emily, Holly, Missy and Jon; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Andrew Smith. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Susan Beamer officiating.
