ETNA GREEN - A Plymouth man suffered head injuries early Saturday when the sport utility vehicle he was driving struck two houses and several trees in Etna Green.
Manuel Jurado, 29, was airlifted to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, in critical condition. A current condition report was not available today.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Jurado's SUV struck a porch and garage at 231 W. Spring St., causing extensive damage. The vehicle continued across several yards, striking a clothesline at 304 W. High St., two trees at 305 W. Spring St. and a tree and house at 308 W. Spring St.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation.
