Candlelight Vigil Tonight at Courthouse for Child Abuse Prevention Month

A candlelight vigil will be tonight on the east side of Kosciusko County Courthouse to reflect on Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The vigil, titled “Light Of Hope,” will begin at 8:30 p.m. and end at 9:10 p.m.
The vigil is being organized by Court Appointed Special Advocates, Department of Child Services and The Beaman Home.
Speakers include Ken Locke, Salvation Army; April Slone, Beaman Home; Erin Shidler, Department of Child Services; George Brennan, CASA volunteer; and Karleen Brennan, school nurse.
CASA volunteers will lead a candle lighting.
Dan Cox, CASA volunteer and United Pentecostal Church pastor, will provide the prayer.
Cathy Miller, CASA board member, will provide closing remarks.
