Boy Scout Troop 819 (formerly 119), sponsored by the Knights of Columbus 4511 associated with Sacred Heart church and school, was first chartered in 1964. “It’s amazing to consider the many generations of young men who have grown and enjoyed the Scouting experience over the past 50 years,” said Scout Maste, Jim Miller of Warsaw. All current and previous Scouts, parents, family, significant others, etc. are invited to attend a pot luck luncheon to celebrate the 50th anniversary at Kelly Park on Aug. 2 from noon to 3 p.m. Bring a dish to pass as well as your memories, stories and laughter as the Scouts celebrate their good fortune and time together.
