BOW Awards Bid To Lakeside For 3 New Police Vehicles

Posted
Lakeside Chevrolet, Warsaw, was awarded the bid Friday for the city’s purchase of three Chevy Caprice patrol vehicles for Warsaw Police Department.
Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety approved an $80,100 contract with Lakeside to purchase the three 2014 vehicles.
The board also reviewed a $77,986 quote from Kelley Chevrolet, Fort Wayne.
Although the quote from Lakeside is higher than Kelley, the board voted to accept Lakeside’s quote as the bid is local and vehicle maintenance and service will be easier.
