Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana will have an open house for its new satellite office in Warsaw Wednesday.
The office is at 1603 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. It is across from Anderson Greenhouse on Ind. 15.
An open house for the community is Wednesday with a press conference at 4:30 p.m.
In addition to holding a press conference to discuss the future of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Kosciusko County, Warsaw-Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce will perform a ribbon cutting at 5 p.m.
Normal business hours for the BBBS office are noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday.
“The opening of this new space will allow Big Brothers Big Sisters to expand existing programs and focus on growth as the number of children waiting for a mentor of their own continues to grow,” said Lindsey Best, Big Brothers Big Sisters development coordinator. “This new office will allow us to focus and strengthen our commitment to Kosciusko County and the children who live here.”
Best said the organization is excited to have an office space in Warsaw and is looking forward to growing in 2013.
Attendees at the open house will include Josette Rider, BBBS executive director; local Kosciusko County ambassadors, local school officials and administrators and chamber board members and ambassadors.
