Beaman Home Gearing Up For Annual Gourmet Luncheon Fundraiser April 18

Posted
The Beaman Home will host its annual Angels of Hope Luncheon on April 18 at Christ’s Covenant Church, 2090 E. Pierceton Road, Winona Lake.

Beaman Home’s staff and volunteers will prepare a gourmet lunch.

Winona Lake resident Linda Bowdler will share her personal story about domestic violence and the traumatic impact it has had on her entire family. Bowdler’s daughter, Lisa, was murdered by her abusive husband in their Warsaw home on May 23, 2007.

Their young children (then ages 2 and 7) and Bowdler witnessed  the crime. To this day, the family feels the impact of losing Lisa, but their faith has helped them cope and heal, according to a news release.

Admission to the fundraiser luncheon is a box of any size of disposable diapers, pull-ups and/or baby wipes.

Reservations are required. To attend, sponsor or bring a group of eight as a table captain at the luncheon, contact Trina Hoy at 574-267-7701, email Trina@TheBeamanHome.org or find out more at TheBeamanHome.com/news-events.

The Beaman Home will accept monetary donations. Such donations keep the emergency shelter open 24/7 to assist domestic violence victims who are picking up the pieces of their lives after they escaped the abuse.

Paragon Medical is the Angel Sponsor of the luncheon. Other sponsors include 1st Source Bank, Wildman Business Group, The Law Office of Travis McConnell, Hall and Marose Silveus Insurance, Parkview Warsaw, Old National Bank and Noon Optimist Club.
