Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Baker Youth Clubs is auctioning a "Tickle Me Elmo" doll and a Nintendo 64 that were donated to help the nonprofit organization raise money, Scott Wiley, executive director, said today.
The auction will be run by phone, Wiley said, with the organization's phone mail set up as an auction hotline. Anyone interested in bidding should call 372-8953; you'll hear an updated message giving the most recent bid amounts and information. If you want to raise the bid, leave the amount of your bid with your name, phone number and the item you're bidding on.
Wiley said the results of the auction will be announced by noon tomorrow - the winners will be called and the names read on local radio stations.
Baker Youth Clubs includes 13 clubs in Kosciusko County and is celebrating its 70th year of service.
